Demolition of the existing five-story, concrete Meyer Library building; safe-off and re-route of the existing site utilities, abatement, and conversion of the vacated site into a landscaped park.
The project also included several make-ready elements prior to building demolition. Underground utilities were re-routed, surrounding buildings using Meyer’s electrical power had to be made independent, and the E-Siren & Cell Towers on top of Meyer were relocated. The project required nearly four months of abatement.
