Oracle occupies both the 9515 Towne Centre Drive building and the 1st floor of the 9525 Towne Centre Drive building. This project consolidates all of the headcount and services for the 9525 location into the 9515 location.
9515 Towne Centre Drive consists of two stories with 31,706 SF per floor. The lab functions for the site were consolidated within the existing 1st floor, and the 2nd floor has been reconfigured to a higher density headcount space (no lab space on this floor). There was also work outside the building associated with the replacement of the MEP systems.
The 65,000 SF project included R&D dry bench electronics lab space, Class 5 clean rooms and a data center relocation.
The site remained fully occupied during the remodel. As such, the project was broken into phases to limit impact to the users of the facility. Any disruptive work or shutdowns were handled off hours. The Oracle team completed this technically and logistically challenging project one day ahead of schedule.
