The Rue Ferrari Emergency Interim Shelter in San José, California, provides temporary housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. It offers private rooms, communal kitchens and laundry facilities, and amenities like workshops, computer rooms, and pet accommodations to help residents transition to permanent housing. 

The expansion includes 31 new modular housing units that will add 144 beds, including 60 single-room occupancy, 36 double-room occupancy, and 12 accessible units. The project also included a new caretaker residence, case management building, a central kitchen/laundry/recreation building, outdoor amenity spaces, and a new staff parking lot.
